Thulla, delirious from poison

Overview[edit | edit source]

Act One[edit | edit source]

Thulla can be found next to Spaw Spaw in Ebonlake Grotto at X: 87 Y: -95. She is slowly dying from the effects of duergar poison, which she was afflicted with from a wound while escaping the duergar slavers from the Decrepit Village.[Needs Verification] Speaking with her starts Cure the Poisoned Gnome Cure the Poisoned Gnome.

Thulla possesses the Boots of Speed, she stole from Thrinn Thrinn before escaping Grymforge, presumably by leaping from a balcony near the dormitory at X: -610 Y: 465. The boots are needed to advance Find the Missing Boots Find the Missing Boots. Thulla offers the boots to the party if they successfully cure her of the poison and agree to help her fellow gnomes.

There are several methods to cure Thulla. The party can administer an Antidote, Duergar Antidote or Elixir of Poison Resistance or perform spells such as Lay on Hands Lay on Hands, Lesser Restoration Lesser Restoration, or Protection from Poison Protection from Poison.

Alternatively, it is possible to obtain the boots without curing her by stealing them following an Investigation roll or looting her corpse when she dies.

Agreeing to help the other gnomes initiates Save the Grymforge Gnomes Save the Grymforge Gnomes.

If Thulla is left to succumb to her poison over the course of the Deliver Nere's Head Deliver Nere's Head quest, she is later encounterable as a spore servant wandering around near Spaw Spaw. If other deep gnomes are rescued from enslavement and travel to the Myconid colony, they lament her death and transformation.

Act Three[edit | edit source]

If Thulla survives Act One, she can be encountered in Angleiron's Cellar with the Ironhand Gnome resistance. She crafts Runepowder explosives and occasionally discusses resistance plans with the party.
