About doppelgangers edit
Doppelgangers can completely transform their appearance to mimic almost any Humanoid creature. They refer to themselves as Shallar. They disguise themselves as other humanoids, then try to enemies by reverting to their true form. Successfully ambushing an enemy allows them to use their multiattack.

Notes edit
- Prior to patch 5, Mindreader's disadvantage appeared as "Disadvantage Difficulty: Tactician" when targeting a doppelganger with a ranged attack.
- Doppelgangers can be spotted by examining a creature, as their race and features are shown in the inspector window.
- When shapeshifted ( not in true form ), the passive does not trigger on the doppelganger.
- If Astarion is first in the party to kill a doppelganger, he may remark with haughty incredulity, "A shapeshifer? You can't trust anyone!"
