Biscotti, upon calling him a good dog

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act Three[edit | edit source]

Biscotti can be found with his owners Fortuno Dibbs Fortuno and Grisselda Dibbs Grisselda. The family became refugees after the cult burned down their farm.

The party can talk to Biscotti and, depending on their actions, make him happy or angry. If speaking via Speak with Animals Speak with Animals, one of the following options can be chosen:

  • Sit
  • Want to play some fetch?
  • Who's a good dog? You're a good dog. Halsin approves +1 Minsc approves +1

The latter makes Biscotti happy, while the rest makes him angry. If making him angry, talking to him again with Speak with Animals and telling him that he is a good dog makes him happy again:

  • You're a good dog, Biscotti.

Without Speak with Animals, the talking party member must pass an Animal Handling check to make Biscotti like them:

  • [ANIMAL HANDLING] Offer your hand to the dog to sniff, being careful to not spook it. (DC 15)
  • Expose your teeth to the dog and growl. Astarion approves +1
