Act Three[edit | edit source]

Phinn Truscott and Bellora Truscott Bellora Truscott are in the park south of Lady Jannath's Estate, remembering their daughter who passed away.

Idle banter[edit | edit source]

Phinn Truscott: Remember when she fell down the stairs and split her chin?

  • Bellora Truscott: I felt horrible about that one. Could barely sleep for a tenday.
    • Phinn Truscott: She couldn't wait to show off the scar to her friends at school.

Bellora Truscott: When she was little, I couldn't wait for a time when she would stop needing us so much. What I'd give to be needed now...

  • Phinn Truscott: I still need you, love. I always will.

Bellora Truscott: Do you ever think we should have had another one?

  • Phinn Truscott: Doesn't matter what we think now - it would have broken us back then.
    • Bellora Truscott: But if we'd only made the effort, if we'd only pushed through...
      • Phinn Truscott: I know, love. I think about it too.

If Enver Gortash is killed:
Phinn Truscott: You know what got me thinking about her today? The news about the death of Lord Gortash. I never even met him, but it started me thinking.

  • Phinn Truscott: I know. Every loss diminishes us further. And I'm afraid many more are on the way. What can we do?
    • Phinn Truscott: We've kept going so far, despite... our loss. If you can keep on, I can keep on with you.
