Malek Stones is an investigative journalist for the Baldur's Mouth Gazette. He can be found inside their main building, Baldur's Mouth, in the Lower City.

Involvement[edit | edit source]
Malek is usually busy working on his next scoop in the writer's room of the Baldur's Mouth. He is somewhat paranoid as a result of his strong desire to find the truth in a city where many truths are being hidden, often at considerable expense. The editor in chief Ettvard Needle believes him "unhinged" enough to consider firing him while Churg Elvek praises him for telling the truth.
If Ettvard is killed, Malek is promoted to editor in chief. If Malek Stones is also killed, then a new character called Syril Valdemar takes their place after a long rest.
