Notes
- Unlike most other control spells, the target of Otto’s Irresistible Dance does not get to attempt a saving throw when the spell is first cast, meaning its turn is very likely to be wasted.
- is one of the very few ways to prevent this from happening.
- Until Patch 4 the target of this spell did not get to attempt to make saving throws on subsequent turns, which made it an irresistible 10 round crowd control ability. This bug was fixed in Patch 4.
- Sorcerers cannot normally learn this spell; they may do so by multiclassing, choosing Wizard as their last class at level 12, and then scribing a Scroll of Otto's Irresistible Dance.
- The incantation for Otto's Irresistible Dance is Obēdirē, the Latin command "Obey!"
