Clan Flameshade is a faction of Duergar from the Underdark. They were hired as mercenaries by Nere to enslave others and employ them in the Grymforge.
Background[edit | edit source]
Members of Clan Flameshade can be found throughout Grymforge, either torturing gnome slaves from Clan Ironhand, manning checkpoints or exploring Grymforge and its history. They are led by Elder Brithvar, who can be convinced to double-cross Nere.
According to the 
dialogue with Skarjall the clan came from the city of 
Dunspeirrin beneath the Orsraun Mountains.
