Witch Bolt is a level 1 evocation spell. It allows spellcasters to hit enemies with a blue ray of electrifying energy that deals 
Lightning damage to them initially and also on subsequent turns.
Description
Link yourself to a target with a bolt of lightning. Deal an additional 1d12Lightning each turn by activating it.
Properties
At higher levels
Upcast: The initial damage increases by 1d12Lightning per level. Damage on subsequent turns is always 1d12Lightning Condition: Witch Bolt
Duration: 10 turns
- The spellcaster can use an Action each turn to activate the arc linking it to this creature to automatically deal 1d12Lightning damage.
How to learn
Classes:
- Class Level 1: Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard, and Draconic Bloodline (Blue/Lightning Ancestry)
- Class Level 3: Arcane Trickster, and Eldritch Knight
Notes
- As of Patch 6, Witch Bolt cannot be twin cast with
