Tides of Chaos is a toggleable passive feature that grants Advantage on your next Attack Roll, Ability Check, or Saving Throw and increases the chance of a Wild Magic surge afterwards to 50% (normally 5%).

Notes

  • Normally, a D20.png d20 is rolled each time a leveled spell is cast. If the result is 20, a Surge is triggered. Tides of Chaos reduces the Difficulty Class (DC) to 11 (i.e. a 50% chance).
  • Although a Reaction, Tides of Chaos does not consume a Reaction resource.

Bugs

  • Tides of Chaos as a passive toggle is currently (as of v4.1.1.6072089) bugged and does nothing; it is only usable as a reaction.[Needs Verification]
