Recommendation: Faction edit
Recommend changing to Category:Faction to bring page in line with Clan Ironhand Capranaut (talk) 16:20, 18 August 2025 (CEST)
- Not sure why you propose this change, Clan Ironhand is a faction and Gond is a God, see its own . Other gods are also not part of the category faction. What I do think is odd, is that at the bottom of the page the factions are included as template while no gods are listed. Yuvixadun (talk) 19:09, 18 August 2025 (CEST)
- I think that's because there's no template for gods and the gods are included in the factions temnplate indirectly by their worshippers' names (e.g. Selûnites, Banites, etc.) and in the factions category indirectly as "Church of..." or "Cult of...", which both link to the gods' pages. - Ironhand is a clan organized around the god Gaerdal Ironhand. The wiki has a page for the clan, but not the god
- Gondians are a clan organized around the god Gond. The wiki has a page for the god (that any information about the clan is grouped into) but not the clan
- I figured since we interact with both as clans and their respective gods only appear in invocations by the gnomes, it'd make sense to have a page for each of the clans, as factions. The majority of the Gond page is about the Gondians as is Capranaut (talk) 22:25, 18 August 2025 (CEST)
- I'm not sure that Gondians are a clan like the Ironhands or the duergar of Clan Flameshade. Imho they're more members of the Church of Gond than clan members. The Ironhands seem to be more a splinter group but not a church of deep gnomes who worship Gaerdal Ironhand. And there are more items (ingots, books and notes) related to Gond himself and also to his church in the game than for Gaerdal Ironhand. And there's no "Clan Gond" mentioned in-game, the Gondians are not labelled as a clan in-game. Hawkeye (talk) 23:12, 18 August 2025 (CEST)
