Overview edit

Approaching Dragon
Close Up

When entering the mountain pass for the first time, the party witness a red dragon flying overhead. A tiefling scout, Ellyka Ellyka, warns the party of a group of githyanki farther ahead.

If Lae'zel Lae'zel is in the party, she breaks off and moves towards the githyanki group. If Lae'zel was not recruited and is still alive, she runs past the party as an NPC and can be recruited if she is not killed by the githyanki raiders. Approaching the githyanki initiates a conversation with Voss Kith'rak Voss about the Mysterious Artefact.

The westward road leads to the Rosymorn Monastery Trail. Travelling there is a cut-off point for some quests, notably Save the Refugees Save the Refugees and Raid the Emerald Grove Raid the Emerald Grove, as the Rite of Thorns is completed after transitioning.
