For the passive feature, see Helldusk Armour (passive feature).

Helldusk Armour is a legendary heavy Armour which can be worn without any proficiency. It grants Fire resistance, reduces damage by 3 from all sources, and grants the Fly spell.

Carixim, soul-stuffed forgemaster of hellish Avernus, hammers away ceaselessly at new creations. Questions of morality and destiny do not concern him. Conscience is for his betters. He works with cheer, his swollen skin moaning soothingly.

Where to find
- House of Hope X: -6477 Y: 2884: Carried by Raphael
Notes
- This item is carried by Raphael at all times. If deprived of it, his armour class remains the same.
- This item can normally only be acquired in Act Three in the House of Hope, though an exploit is available to obtain it much earlier from Raphael, in camp, in Act One.
- Unlike the spell , the version of Fly granted by this armour does not require concentration.
- This armour sells for more than any other item in the game.
- As this item does not have a Proficiency group, any class can wear it without the normal armour penalties that might otherwise be imposed.
Bugs
- As stated above, this item does not have a Proficiency Group (in order for all classes to be 'proficient' with it). However, as a result, items such as Bracers of Defence, Bonespike Boots, and Corellon's Grace that are not supposed to give their bonuses while wearing armour still provide their benefits with the Helldusk Armour equipped. The extra movement speed granted to monks by is also not lost when wearing this armour.
- The fighting style can grant up to +2 AC when used with this armour. For the same reason as above, Defence does not normally work with the Helldusk Armour as it is not considered armour proper. To work around this, the armour has a hidden passive that grants +1 AC if the wearer has Defence. While this property is not a bug, if the wearer also has another piece of armour equipped (e.g. a helmet), the normal +1 AC from Defence is additionally applied for a total of +2 AC, and this likely is a bug.
