This article is about the action to manually trigger the Ice Mephit's Death Burst. For the corresponding passive feature, see Death Burst: Cold. For other variants of Death Burst, see Death Burst.
Death Burst is an Ice Mephit action. The Ice Mephit explodes, dealing 4d6ColdCold damage to nearby creatures and freezing the ground. This explosion is also triggered if the mephit dies any other way, but it deals half damage when triggered that way.

Description

Explode in a burst of ice that damages all nearby creatures.
