Blood-Curdling Emission

From bg3.wiki

Blood-Curdling Emission is a passive feature that allows the weapon to scare its target. It deals extra damage and increases chance to hit against frightened targets.

Description

On a hit, possibly inflict Frightened Frightened. Gain a +1d4 bonus to attack and damage against Frightened creatures.

Condition: Frightened

Frightened Frightened

Duration: 2 turns

DC 12  Wisdom saving throw

How to learn

Granted by the weapons:

Notes

  • This passive effect grants damage and attack roll buffs to both melee weapons and the bow.
    • Unnarmed and spell attacks have only attack rolls buffed.
  • The apply frighten frighten on hit effect is not actually a part of this passive, but the Bow of the Banshee itself.

Bugs

  • The combat log erroneously states the spell save DC of the wielder; it still uses the fixed DC of 12.
