Involvement

Act One

Taman is at the Chapel Entrance arguing with Gimblebock on whether to abandon their post to search the Nautiloid. While Gimblebock insists on exploring the ship, Taman is wary that the Nautiloid will be the death of them. Nearby, Quelenna and Warryn also guard the ruins.

On approaching, Gimblebock automatically engages the party in conversation. The party can convince the looters to leave the area or attack them. Failing any of the ability checks causes Taman and the others to attack.

  • Gimblebock: You'll die a bloody pauper unless you take a few risks.
    • Taman: Why don't we just wait a while? Make sure it's safe.
      • Gimblebock: Either we act now, or someone else will pick that wreck clean and leave us nothing.
        • Taman: Haven't seen anyone but us. It's just wilderness out here.
          • Gimblebock: Hells. Pity you aren't as good at graverobbing as you are at excuses.
            • Taman: Just being careful. Like my mum always said, fools rush in.
