Hellfire Watcher

Hellfire Watchers are a type of Steel Watcher found in Steel Watch Foundry in Baldur's Gate.

Overview

Hellfire Watchers are similar to Steel Watchers except they have a few additional attacks.

Combat

Each Hellfire Watcher wields a Watcher Greatsword or a Heavy Crossbow akin to Hellfire Engine Crossbow. The weapon does not drop when the Hellfire Watcher dies.

Attacks and Abilities

 Debilitating Shot ()

Damage: 9~36

3d10 + 6Piercing

Fire a hefty ballista bolt that may  Pin Down the target.

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

 Hellfire Exhaust ()

Damage: 6~48

Vent a gout of hellfire from your engine. Any already  Burning creatures caught in the blast take an extra 3d8Fire damage.

AoE: 3 m / 10 ft (Cone)

 Main Hand Attack ()

Damage: 7~40

3d12 + 4Slashing

Strike with a colossal blade to knock a target  Prone and  Maim them.

 Range: 3 m / 10 ft

AoE: 2 m / 7 ft (Radius)

 Reposition Malefactor ()

Damage:

1/2 Normal weapon damage

Pulls the creature 9 m / 30 ft closer to you.

DEX Save

 Range: Normal weapon range

 Self-Detonate

Damage: 30~74

4d12 + 26Fire

Explode in a burst of raging hellfire - eliminate all nearby wrongdoers.
