Havkelaag

Havkelaag is a member of the Society of Brilliance in the Lower City in Baldur's Gate 3. He can be found at The Lodge in Act Three.

Involvement

In Baldur's Gate, he can be found inside The Lodge just past the main door. If completing the  Steal a Githyanki Egg quest and having the egg in the inventory, then Havkelaag offers to purchase it for 1000 gold to perform an experiment on raising a githyanki child from birth. If having given the egg to his colleague Lady Esther, Havkelaag is dead along with the rest of the members of the Society of Brilliance, having been killed by Ptaris - the child he raised from the egg.

According to the Sword Coast Couriers address book, Havkelaag has a 'philosophical objection' to postal service, and all letters must be address to Golbraith instead.

The party can ask Havkelaag to become a member, however he will decline and say new memberships are on hold due to the Absolute. Party members with the Sage background will nevertheless gain the inspiration  Membership Admittance.

Impel a storm of hail and ice to crash from the sky, covering the ground and striking all objects and creatures within range, dealing Bludgeoning and Cold damage. It also creates an  Ice surface that lasts 2 turns.

AoE: 6 m / 20 ft (Radius)

 Misty Step ( + )

Surrounded by silver mist, you teleport to an unoccupied space you can see.

 Ray of Frost ()

Damage: 1~8

1d8Cold

Reduces the target's Movement Speed by 3 m / 10 ft.
