Fierce Perilous Stakes

Fierce Perilous Stakes is an action and illithid power available to Full-Illithids. It grants a target a massive boost to critical hit chance and bonus psychic damage, but at the cost of suffering vulnerability to all damage types.

Description

Grant an ally an additional 15Psychic damage, healing 2~16hit points when they attack. They become Vulnerable to all damage for the duration of this effect.

• Affected entity's attacks deal an additional 15Psychic damage and heal 2d8hit points. The entity scores a Critical Hit when rolling a 15 or higher. The entity is Vulnerable to all damage.

How to learn

Used by creatures: Full-Illithid

Notes

• This action is unlocked automatically after becoming a Full-Illithid.
• When targeting enemies, there is an Intelligence saving throw to apply the effect. This saving throw automatically succeeds when targeting allies.

Bugs

• This can be cast multiple times on the same target to apply multiple instances of  Fierce Perilous Stakes at once, and can even stack with  Perilous Stakes. The critical hit threshold reduction, bonus damage, and healing effect from each application all stack with each other. The damage vulnerability does not stack this way.
