Bonecloak's Apothecary is a Location within the Lower City in Act Three of Baldur's Gate 3. It is located North East of the Lower City Central Wall waypoint and north of Sorcerous Sundries.

Overview

If Derryth Bonecloak is killed in the Underdark and Baelen Bonecloak is not rescued, or if both Baelen and Derryth die in Act One, then Bonecloak's Apothecary is closed, with a simple notice left out front that says "Gone shroom hunting."

Ground Level

The ground floor of the apothecary consists of the store and a greenhouse with alchemical ingredients, which is located west of the main entrance.

If Derryth obtained Noblestalk while in the Underdark in Act One, she has some for sale in the store, but these Noblestalk cannot be used to restore memories, unlike the stalk found in the Underdark.

Upper Level

The greenhouse vines wrap through the hallway windows on the upper level. A small bedroom can be reached at the end of the hall, which contains Derryth's diary.

Basement

The basement can be accessed through a locked ( DC 10 Sleight of Hand check hatch in the greenhouse. The basement contains alchemical ingredients and a locked Heavy Chest which contains the Counting House Safe nº3 Key.

On the western wall, there is a notice that reads "Preparing brews. Feck off" and several crates that partially conceal a lever. Using the lever lowers the wall to provide entrance to the Bonecloak's laboratory. The lab contains more alchemical ingredients as well as an Elixir of Psychic Resistance and Potion of Speed. Several Bibberbangs are scattered throughout the room. Notes regarding Derryth and Baelen's relationship can also be found.
