LoseControl is a status property.

Condition Effects

Berserk (Condition) Berserk

  • A frenetic rage racks the affected entity's flesh. Its Multiattacks each deal an additional 1d8BludgeoningBludgeoning damage and knocks targets Prone Prone
  • It also gains Resistance to Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeoning damage, and has Advantage Icon.png Advantage on Strength Checks and Saving Throws.
  • This frenzy ends if the affected entity regains all its hit points.

Champion Challenge (Condition) Champion Challenge

  • Affected entity is compelled to attack the paladin that challenged them. Any attacks they might make against targets other than the paladin have Disadvantage Icon.png Disadvantage.
  • Condition ends if the entity moves 9 m / 30 ft away from the paladin.

Coerced (Condition) Coerced

  • Forced to fight for Nere and takes 1d6PsychicPsychic each turn.

Confused (Condition) Confused

  • Affected entity is hostile to everyone, wanders around aimlessly, and occasionally skips turns in its stupor

Crown of Madness (Condition) Crown of Madness

  • Instilled with magical madness. Will attack the nearest creature, other than the spellcaster.

Demonspirit Madness (Condition) Demonspirit Madness

  • Affected entity has been driven to a frenzy by magical madness. It will attack the nearest creature on its turn.
  • At the end of each turn, the affected entity makes a Wisdom saving throw. On a successful save, the condition is removed.

Dominated (Condition) Dominated

  • Affected entity will follow and fight alongside the caster of this spell.
  • Every time it takes damage, it may break the caster's control over it with a successful Wisdom Saving throw.

  • Affected entity will follow and fight alongside the caster of this spell.
  • Every time it takes damage, it may break the caster's control over it with a successful Wisdom Saving throw.

Gnawing Horde (Condition) Gnawing Horde

  • Ravenous Ghouls that fight alongside you.

Goaded (Condition) Goaded

  • Must attack the goading creature, if possible.
  • Disadvantage Icon.png Disadvantage on Attack Rolls against targets other than the spellcaster.

Hag's Pawn (Condition) Hag's Pawn

  • Ethel has taken control. Condition lasts until mask is removed or spellcaster is dead.

Incubus Charmed (Condition) Incubus Charmed

  • You are charmed by a devil and must support it in battle. You can make another Saving Throw against this effect after taking damage.

Insanity's Kiss (Condition) Insanity's Kiss

  • Hostile to all other creatures for the condition's duration.

Lured (Condition) Lured

  • The affected entity is attracted to a harpy's luring melody and uses its turn to move closer to the harpy, possibly provoking opportunity attacks from the other harpies.
  • The affected entity must pass a DC 13  Wisdom saving throw at the start of their turn or remain lured.
  • Taking damage or being Shoved removes the condition.

Madness (Condition) Madness

  • Hostile to everyone in the vicinity.

Malefic Possession (Condition) Malefic Possession

  • The affected entity acts according to the Possessing Possessing ghost's will and takes 4d8NecroticNecrotic damage each turn until it dies or is Turned Turned.

Mind Mastery (Condition) Mind Mastery

  • Forced to make a weapon attack against one of its allies by a duergar mind master.
  • Ends after the attack, or when hit.

Newborn Zombie (Condition) Newborn Zombie

  • Zombies born from the Crawling Gnaw cannot last. They take 1NecroticNecrotic each turn and only follow the zombie that infected them.

Seized by Planar Binding (Condition) Seized by Planar Binding

  • Affected entity follows and fights for the one who has bound it.
  • Every time it takes damage, it may break the caster's control over it with a successful Wisdom saving throw.

Shadow Possession (Condition) Shadow Possession

  • Affected entity is possessed by frenzied shadows and will attack the nearest creature. Its weapon attacks deal an additional 1d4NecroticNecrotic damage.

Shadow-Cursed Undead (Condition) Shadow-Cursed Undead

Unbridled Wrath (Condition) Unbridled Wrath

  • Releasing a decade of pent-up rage in a blaze of infernal fury.
  • The affected entity is Immune to Fire damage.
