Veteran Warrior Ma'athal is a githyanki Veteran Warrior who ambushes the party near the Road to Baldur's Gate in Reithwin Town within the Shadow-Cursed Lands.

If marked for death by Vlaakith Vlaakith, Tska'an Ch'r'ai Tska'an, Ma'athal, and the rest of their unit ambush the party as they approach the western gate to Reithwin Town. Carrying the Qua'nith Psionic Detector allows the party to spot the ambush and surprise the githyanki instead.
