Githyanki ardents are a class-like archetype of githyanki NPC encountered in Crèche Y'llek. Mages that specialize in psionic combat, ardents are the purest githyanki spellcasters encountered in the game.

Attacks and abilities[edit | edit source]
Ardents wield a 
Githyanki Shortsword, though they will always prefer casting a cantrip over swinging their sword, unless forced by silence. Despite this reluctance for swordsmanship, they also benefit from an extra attack.
