Wild Shape is an Action gained by Druids at Level 2 that allows them to magically transform into various creatures in order to fight in combat or explore the environment.

Description

Magically assume the shape of a beast. While in animal shape, you can't talk or cast Spells.

You can take on the attributes your beast form -- excluding your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores.

When your beast form drops to 0 Hit Points, you revert to your normal form.

Properties

Action + Wild Shape Charge

• Your Ability Scores become the Ability Scores of the creature while Wild Shaped (Excluding Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom).
• When you reach 0 Hit Points, you revert back to your original form (with the same Hit Points you had before Wild Shaping). If you take damage that reduces the Wild Shape form's Hit Points below 0, the remaining damage is applied to your original form.
• If a  Concentration Spell was cast before entering Wild Shape, you do not lose Concentration on the spell after Wild Shaping.
• Your equipped items are merged into your beast form and do not have any effect until you revert back.
• You retain your normal Skill and Saving Throw Proficiencies while Wild Shaped, but the total bonuses for Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution-based rolls are influenced by your new animal form ability scores.

As a Bonus Action, you can assume the form of a beast. You can transform twice per Short Rest.

Only available to Circle of the Moon Druids.

Wild Shape: Badger

Take the shape of a giant Badger that can burrow into the ground. You gain Bite (Badger), Claws (Badger), and Burrow.

Your badger shape has 13 Hit Points.

Take the shape of a polar Bear that tanks damage by taunting enemies. You gain Goading Roar and Claws (Bear).

Only available to Circle of the Moon Druids.

Wild Shape: Cat

Take the shape of a ragdoll Cat that can distract enemies by meowing. You gain Claws (Cat) and Meow.

Take the shape of of a giant Spider that can shoot webs to entangle enemies. You gain Web (Spider) and Venomous Bite.

Wild Shape: Wolf

Take the shape of a Wolf that can leave enemies open to Critical Hits and increase allies' Movement Speed. You gain Inciting Howl (Wolf), Bite (Wolf), and Exposing Bite. Like all wolves, this wolf form has the Pack Tactics passive feature.

Your Wolf shape has 18 hit points.

Take the shape of of a Dire Raven that can Blind enemies. You gain Beak Attack and Rend Vision.

Your Dire Raven shape has 13 Hit Points.

Only available to Level 4 Circle of the Moon Druids.

Take the shape of of a Deep Rothé that can charge and impale enemies. You gain Gore and Charge.
