Wilting Alex

From bg3.wiki

Wilting Alex is a dead Human whose corpse can be found in the Lower City in Act Three.

A 'tribute' to the Bhaalspawn of ages past. This is Amelyssan - and the five spawn she tricked into dying for her cause. It didn't help her, in the end.

Involvement edit

Wilting Alex can be found dead in the Undercity Ruins, close to the Bhaal Temple. She was killed by Orin Orin the Red. Her corpse was used as a component of Orin's "art" as an effigy to Amelyssan, a priestess of Bhaal defeated more than a century ago, along with the corpses of Lupir Neswaen, Hubersa Declensios, Isaan Thibault, Goxxoon, and Quelat Quimms.

Wilting Alex's corpse can be looted for one of Dribbles' body parts Dribbles' body parts and the sixth of Orin's Ritual Notes.

Notes edit

  • Wilting Alex's in-game model, as well as the model of Echo of Amelyssan Echo of Amelyssan (Amelyssan's ghost at the Murder Tribunal), are designed to copy Amelyssan's image from the previous Baldur's Gate games, save for the haircut which only resembles her helm.
  • Other corpses strewn around Wilting Alex's body resemble once more all the Bhaalspawn of the group known as The Five, led by Amelyssan slyly and subtly long time ago. Though not a Bhaalspawn herself, Amelyssan achieved almost a demigod status in her attempt to revive Bhaal.
