The Secluded Cove is a Location within the Wilderness in Act One of Baldur's Gate 3. It can be reached from the Emerald Grove's Sacred Pool, via the pathway at X: 298 Y: 542.

Overview[edit]

The Secluded Cove is home to several enemy harpies who threaten the safety of Mirkon Mirkon during the quest Investigate the Beach Investigate the Beach. The party's actions (or lack thereof) towards this threat impact their interactions with other tiefling children in the Grove. Rescuing Mirkon from the harpies grants Protector of the Small for folk hero backgrounds and Slaying the Piper for urchin backgrounds.

Reaching the co-ordinates X: 355 Y: 535 grants the party 40 XP at level 4 and 80 XP at level 5.

Hidden treasure[edit]

  • Harpy Nest at X: 326 Y: 491, past the shallow water and boulders, requiring the party to Jump Jump over a small gap in the boulders.
  • A wooden chest buried at X: 280 Y: 590, northwest of the harpy beach. The party need to jump across several stone pillars to to reach this location.
  • A wooden chest along the water at X: 360 Y: 530, past the boulders where the harpies sing Luring Song Luring Song.
