- The target is protected against Aberrations, Celestials, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, and Undead. These creatures have Disadvantage on Attack rolls against the target, and the target can't be Charmed, Frightened, or possessed by them[See: Bugs].

Other ways to learn:
- Granted to Rangers who pick as their Favoured Enemy at level 1. Recharge: Long rest
- Wizards can scribe a Scroll of Protection from Evil and Good to their spellbooks.
Notes
- This spell both negates existing condition and prevents its recipient from becoming Frightened.
- This spell prevents negative effects of the Part of the Flock debuff incurred by the Whispering Mask.

- Immunity is not provided against .
- The immunity to frightened and possession is against any source, not just the listed creature types.
