Meazel

Meazels are humanoid creatures and a non-playable race found in Act Two. They attack their victims by restraining them with  Garrotte and teleporting them deep into the shadow curse.

Overview

Meazels are encountered in the Ruined Battlefield at the rotting potter's house near X: -43 Y: 7. They will be poised to ambush the party, but can be discovered with a passive DC 18 Perception check.

Lash out with deadly claws.

Wrap a shadow rope around a creature's throat to start  Garrotting it.

 Shadow Teleport ()

Teleport to a shadowy location. If you are Garrotting a creature, it teleports with you.

 Range: 30 m / 100 ft

Tactician and higher

 Garrotte ()

3d6 (3~18) Bludgeoning

Wrap a shadow rope around a creature's throat,  Garrotting and  Restraining it.
