Act Three

Matthurny can be found on the beach with Big Liar Bronzon and Dim Phimberg with fishing poles and buckets of fish. The group chat with each other about possibly catching a Sahuagin and what that might entail. Bronzon tends to lie and exaggerate, however Phimberg is not too bright and tends to believe her.

Idle banter

Big Liar Bronzon: I'm telling you, a sahuagin stole my bait.

• Dim Phimberg: What's a swa-gog-gin?
  • Matthurny: A shark-person, Dim. They don't play nice.

Dim Phimberg: I think I'm afraid of swa-gog-gins.

• Matthurny: Aw, don't worry. Big Liar's just pulling your leg.
  • Big Liar Bronzon: Am not. It was a sahuagin, big as life, all fangs and fins.

Big Liar Bronzon: If we caught a sahuagin, would they buy it at the fish market?

• Matthurny: A sahuagin is more likely to catch you.
  • Dim Phimberg: I don't like this conversation at all.
