Mind Master Kettel is a duergar caster who is a part of Corsair Greymon's crew in the Underdark during Act One.

Involvement

Act One

After boarding the boat from the Underdark beach, a boat captained by Corsair Greymon sails up alongside the party's boat. Greymon comes aboard, and the player character has to pass a check to convince him to let the party through to Grymforge. If failing the check, or choosing violence, Greymon attacks and Kettel joins the battle.

Your  Armour Class increases by 5, but you receive Disadvantage on Ability Checks and Saving Throws using Strength, and your weapons deal 1d4 less damage (minimum of 1 damage).
