Involvement edit

When met Gyldro is busy forging weapons, and directs the party downstairs to Exxvikyap Exxvikyap, if they wish to trade.

Gyldro Angleiron is one of the potential disguises of Orin Orin the Red. If meeting Orin as Gyldro, she asks the party a number of questions about weapons and methods of killing they enjoy. Describing your perfect weapon grants the inspiration Dream Big Dream Big to party members with the Guild Artisan Guild Artisan background. After she has left, the real Gylro runs out of a nearby room and complains about the party attacking him. Failing to persuade or otherwise explain that it was not the party turns him hostile.

On returning to him later, he is dead, with a letter from Orin saying how disappointed she is that the party did not kill the blacksmith. His corpse can be found in the Temple of Bhaal.

Although presenting as a gruff and melancholy blacksmith, the party can read the diary and notes in his home, across from his smithy, to learn he is an introspective soul, an aspiring artist and is aware something is amiss in the city. If spoken to after meeting with Wulbren Wulbren Bongle in Angleiron's Cellar, a conversation option presents to learn more about why he agreed to shelter Wulbren and the rest of the Ironhand Gnomes there.
