Aura of Hate

Aura of Hate is a class action of Oathbreaker paladins. It gives bonus damage to the paladin and any nearby weapon-using fiends or undead.

Description

You and any nearby fiends and undead gain additional damage to melee weapon attacks equal to your Charisma Modifier.

• The Paladin and all nearby fiends and undead deal additional damage with melee weapons, equal to the Charisma modifier of the Paladin.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 7: Oathbreaker

Notes

• The effect applies to all nearby fiends and undead, including enemies.
• The effect does not apply to unarmed attacks such as with claws.
• For allies, this mainly only affects the Paladin triggering the aura, as no undead summons in the game have melee weapons. However,  Planar Ally: Cambion,  Planar Binding, and  Control Undead, while all somewhat situational, can be used to gain allies affected by the buff.
