Mohan didn't appear in this location until after I defeated Gortash. I fast traveled directly to the Lower City Central Waypoint, among a few other things. Spotted him in my peripheral as I was about to enter Bonecloak. Obviously wasn't there before, at least that's what I want to believe given the amount of time I put into this game. But I wouldn't be surprised if this trader moves around and he blends in very well with the environment.

He did appear for me after I did Stop the Presses, using the "Make Big Money by Trading with Adventurers" slate, so there might be different conditions under which he appears 45.129.35.145 11:34, 13 February 2024 (CET)
- Not done either of these quests (but have done e.g. House of Hope) and he's there for me. Might be worth looking into the source code for the flags (though I don't know how to do this). Chronque (talk) 16:48, 20 June 2024 (CEST)
- I agree that checking data flags is probably worth while, but as a sniff test I used a debug tool to skip to his location without any quest flags set, and he was there. This was on Patch 8, Room Temperature fix 33 Capranaut (talk) 09:27, 22 August 2025 (CEST)
