Soul Catching Prowess is a free reaction granted by the Gloves of Soul Catching after landing an unarmed strike. It grants the wearer a +5 bonus to a failed Saving throw, potentially turning it into a success.

This reaction is mutually exclusive with Soul Snare: Heal Soul Snare: Heal and Soul Catching Boon Soul Catching Boon. Only one of these three Soul Catching Soul Catching features can be used in a single turn.

  • When this reaction is used, the Grasp Essence Grasp Essence condition is removed. This prevents using any of the three Soul Catching Soul Catching features again until the following turn when Grasp Essence can be regained.

Bugs

  • The in-game description of this feature is not accurate. It states "Gain Advantage Icon.png Advantage on your next Saving throw." Instead, it grants a +5 bonus to a single failed saving throw, if it is sufficient to turn it into a success.
