Incineration Caster

From bg3.wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Incineration Caster is a device found in Wyrm's Rock Fortress which shoots a cone of fire at enemies standing in front of it.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Incineration Casters only become active during combat. After using Incinerate (Incineration Caster) on a target, it gains Overheating Overheating for 3 turns and explodes if triggered again.

When successfully disarming with a DC 10 Sleight of Hand check roll, the Incineration Caster immediately uses Incineration Caster: Overheat, forcing the character (and everyone close enough) to make a Dexterity saving throw. As stated in the ability's page, however, everyone affected still takes half-damage, even if succeeding the Saving Throw.
