If [[Investigate the Murders]] hasn't been completed yet, the party can warn her that she is one of the victims on the [[Bloodstained Parchment|Bhaalist murder list]]. If [[Save Vanra]] has been started, it's possible to speak with the tavern owner [[Captain Grisly]] for more information on [[Vanra]]'s disappearance.  

The basement can be accessed through either a door near the front of the tavern, or a hatch near Captain Grisly.
